Many christians do not fully submit themselves to Jesus Christ personally.

They rely on their understanding of the scriptures, their pastor, or their own belief systems and convictions.

It is important to realize that Jesus Christ is a person, and one of great authority.

For this reason, it is good not only to put into practice the things He spoke, but to also pray to Him, seek His will, and to do what He wants you to do.

If you ask Him for knowledge of His will, He can reveal it to you. If you ask Him for help, He can help you to do whatever He shows you.

Luke 6:46

"But why do you call Me 'Lord, Lord' and not do the things which I say?"

He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.”

How do we do this practically though? it all sounds good on paper but everyday life is a struggle. I know my position and that I am supposed to walk by faith and not by sight but practically speaking how does that play out?
