I can't find out if Alter Bridge is Christian or not. I've looked at their site, and I'm contemplating on buying their CD. They are Creed without Scott Stapp. That's what happened after Creed broke up. Are they a good band? I wanna get their CD, but I'm unsure. I want good music to listen to.

if you know the songs look up the lyrics and then decide. If you want help looking up the lyrics post the song titles.

danielfeveryear,
I hopped on Google and searched for "Alter Bridge Lyrics". The first link I opened was a great resource for the lyrics to their songs. After reading through each song I would have to say it appears there are definite Christian references in their songs.
I'm personally going to take a look into getting this CD, as I've been searching for more and more music of the heavier persuasion, and enjoyed "Creed" . I used to listen to Metallica, Megadeth, etc, before my turn to back to the Lord, and have found the Christian Metal band called "Skillet" was a great alternative (just for your reference).
Hope this helps you out!

Well, Alter Bridge "the band" may not be Christian labeled but few of the members may be. Back when Creed was still on scene, Scott Stapp was one of the hard core lyrical insight provider. Alter Bridge members must of learn from this and kept the motion of 'Positive' messages.
Songs like, "White Knuckles" "Ties that Bind" give a positive adrenaline message to keep up our guard and remove ourselves from what keeps us knocked down.
Creed and Alter Bridge are two "bands" that I consider listening to. However, after the split from Creed, members of Alter Bridge, now sound a lot more agressive but with motivated messages still standing.
Personally, both band name's messages are great for me.
Every "none-Christian" label band will always carry a few words of dissapointment but, i guess, it's reality of writing and the effort of sending the right message in its form of style - genre.
"Accept what helps you, disolve what doesn't."
Actually, it goes back to ones Conviction in Christ Jesus.
