it never ceases to amaze me about the wiles of the devil to get us to doubt our salvation by showing God to be unfair in something or other.
one of the ways he does this as is seen so clearly in his temptation of our Lord, is that he only part quotes scripture. so let us see the immediate context of this scripture shall we? what the apostle Paul actually said was: (romans 3:22)
"Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus"
he is not talking about anyone being lost at all. in fact the word "hell" is not mentioned. and forgive me if i'm wrong. but the apostle Paul never talks about hell at all in any of his epistles.
just here and in the other partly quoted verse taken from the same chapter, he is speaking about the salvation of every believer.
what a wonderful God we have. he has thought of everything in order to redeem us. the argument here is that God didn't only come to the jews. but to "all them that believe" in fact his whole argument is not the exclusivity of salvation. but that he has extended his salvation to the whole world, not just to the jews.
how different. in fact it is the complete opposite of what our questioner is proposing. this is exactly how the devil works. but turning truth on its head. watch out for this kind of thing my dear fellow believers. it is a classic satanic argument. don't fall for it.
how evil is this devil, who does all in his power to denigrate God and this so great salvation that he has planned for us. look at this great love that he has for each and every one of us. how he gave his only begotten son "Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree".
and we fall for that so transparent old as the hills trick of satan of causing us to think only that God is "so unfair". when in fact he has emptied heaven for each one of us by giving his only son so that we could be saved.
how dare we question his character like this? it is rather we ourselves that are being "unfair" in our half baked wicked thinking about our gracious God and saviour. how dare we call the precious blood of our dear Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ an unclean thing, by trashing all that he has done on the cross for us in paying the price for our blood red sins and washing our hearts from that deep corruption and deceitfulness that is in them. "But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus"

We are all sinners and Jesus came as a sacrifice for our sins, to open the door to forgiveness and grace. The Bible is open to this fact. so no secret there.
